Quality treatments produce quality results.

Remedies that are offered to animals on a self-selection basis are derived from the natural environment in which animals have evolved. They include but are not limited to grasses, tubers, minerals, algae, plant extracts and essential oils. The remedies I use for this therapy for animals are sourced organically with unadulterated quality, designed to sync with animals' innate responses, such as sniffing, tasting and back rolling, which are fundamental behaviours they would exhibit in the wild. Many of the remedies used in this therapy are rich in antioxidants. These remedies are a natural source of antioxidants, shown to prevent illness and diseases and are necessary for good health.

Animals, like us, have a subtle electromagnetic field of energy known as the “Biofield” or energy system that can relate to physical and emotional health.

Essential oils used in this therapy have a high vibrational value which makes them an excellent tool for rebalancing and harmonising the energetic system in addition to their broad spectrum of nature's chemical components that have a physiological response on the body.

How do we use Zoopharmacognosy?

Animals can't communicate their needs when they're ill. However, they do have an innate knowledge of how to stay healthy and heal themselves when they're sick.

Therapy involves offering individual animals pure, natural healing substances to animals on a self-selection basis. A range of natural organic remedies that have been skilfully and professionally shortlisted for safety and for the healing properties of individual remedies that are considered appropriate for the individual animals' existing health problem or veterinary diagnosis.

This approach permits individual animals to re-access nature's pharmacy, which otherwise would be unavailable to them and is derived from sources in the natural environment in which they evolved. Animals will self-select the remedies that they innately recognise and which they instinctively know will benefit them, bringing out their natural instincts and behaviour.

Is this therapy safe?

Over time, evolution has changed both animals and plants to interact to their mutual benefit, and zoopharmacognosy has been practised for thousands of years, so it withstands the test of time.

This approach of facilitated zoopharmacognosy has an excellent safety profile when used correctly and with knowledge of the individual remedies themselves, their indications and appropriate use in health conditions being addressed. Particularly because the selection, method of administration, dose, and length of treatment are all determined by the animals themselves. Such treatments are intended to broaden the idea of therapy rather than substitute for traditional professional veterinary care. No animal is put at risk or forced to participate in this self-selection process, and it is done with the consent of the animal's vet.
